The last day to file for Litchville-Marion School Board Election is Monday, March 31st, 2025 @ 4pm!! There are two director positions that will be on the ballot. One director shall be from Geographical area Number 3 & the other director shall be from Geographical area Number 5. Any questions call Superintendent Renee Bowen or the school.

RESCHEDULED MEETING:
The School Board of the Litchville Marion School District (hereafter referred to as "governing body") will be holding a special meeting on April 3, 2025, at 4:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in person at 104 2nd Street, Marion, North Dakota. At the time this notice is being prepared, the governing body expects the agenda of its meeting to include the following topics:
1. Executive Session – Pursuant to NDCC Sec. 44-04-(19.1)-(19.2), the governing body will obtain its attorney’s consultation and advice regarding the risks, strengths, or weaknesses of an action or negotiating strategy, and/or regarding reasonably predictable civil litigation; and
2. Consideration of Employee Resignations of Cindy Vogel and Amanda Torborg.

On March 27, 2025 at 6:00 O’Clock p.m. (Central Time) at 104 2nd Street, Marion, North Dakota, the Board of the Litchville-Marion School District will have special meeting, which will include an executive session with its attorney pursuant to NDCC Sec. 44-04-(19.1)-(19.2) in order to discuss and obtain its attorney’s consultation regarding the risks, strengths, or weaknesses of an action or negotiating strategy, and/or regarding reasonably predictable civil litigation. The public meeting concerning the District’s Former Business Manager’s resignation and potential for-cause termination will follow the executive session.

Just another exciting day in kindergarten!
Prairie Waters Education & Research Center visited our classroom and Bonita and Louis did a presentation on Water Animals of ND and Rain & Thunderstorms. The kids made rain sticks after the presentations.
We also had a 'popsicle' day. All subjects were popsicle themed.
