2026 Annual Election:
The Annual School Board election was set for June 2nd, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM in the Litchville Marion school district commons area by motion of Rhea Miller second Wayne Smith, all yes.  There are two positions on the Litchville-Marion School Board which are up for election.  Both are three-year terms.  One director shall be from Geographical Area #1, which is all the area that lies north of North Dakota Highway 46 and West of North-South line 1 mile west of Barnes County Highway 11. This position is currently held by Krista Johnson.   One Director shall be from Geographical Area #4, which is all the area that lies south of North Dakota highway 46 and West of the East boarders of Sheridan, Grandview and Grand Rapids Townships.  This position is currently held by Kyle Severance.  Any candidate for election as a member of the school board of the Litchville-Marion School District must be a resident of the geographical area he/she represents.  If interested in being a candidate, you must file with Mindy Smith, business manager, of the board, not less than sixty-four (64) days before the elections and before 4:00 P.M. on the sixty-fourth, a statement setting forth the candidate's name and the position for which that person is a candidate.  The last day for filing for election on the school board is March 30, 2026.
