March 27, 2024 - LM 4th graders, along with 250 area 4th graders, attending Harvest ND in Lisbon. They learned about careers within agriculture, livestock in ND, crops in ND, technology we use in agriculture, along with several commodity group presentations. Students learned about electrical safety and farm equipment safety. Students enjoyed a session on relaxation/calming techniques. Student highlights were trivia games and feeling the water pressure from nozzles on a chemical sprayer. Each session was about 7 minutes. Student were also provided a complimentary Subway lunch.
